Program Details

Eligibility

1. The business must be for-profit business.
2. Number of Employees: Business must have 500 or fewer employees
3. Microenterprise has 5 or less employees including the owner.
4. Small Business has more than 5 employees including the owner.
5. The business must have a retail location within the City of North Las Vegas city limits.
6. Business and owner do not have prior loss to government i.e., previously defaulted on a Federal loan or federally assisted financing, resulting in a loss to the Federal government or any of its agencies or departments.

Eligible use of funds:

1. Working Capital
2. Tenant Improvements
3. Asset purchase (machinery, equipment, vehicle, furniture, fixtures)
4. Business purchase – 100% ownership transfer
5. Debt refinance to support additional capital investment intended to increase business activities.

Required Documentation

1. Copy of business license;
2. Articles of Organization/Incorporation;
3. Business tax returns for the preceding three (3) years, or all business tax returns in the event the business has been operating less than three years;
4. Most recent payroll tax return, if applicable;
5. Copy of State issued ID for all owners; and
6. Comprehensive business plan with 2-year projections
